About Gala de Cultura:
Centro Cultural was founded over 50 years ago, during the first wave of the civil rights movement. Now, it’s nearly 2026, and we find ourselves fighting for our rights all over again.
Our basic needs and sense of belonging might feel under siege, but we are here to remind everyone of a fundamental truth: we belong. We are the fabric of this community, woven together by a shared commitment to a better future. Anything that creates prosperity and economic well-being for our community members is our top priority.
At Gala de Cultura 2026, Centro Cultural invites you to join us to remember how each of our pillars of work connect to this collective effort. We are locked in with you, mano a mano, hombro a hombro, fueled by the power of our ancestors. We are here to build economic well-being and prosperity for our entire region—and we invite you to be part of it.
