Centro Cultural is delighted to have you join us on our 5th Annual Gala - Gala de Cultura: Honoring our Community Champions! As the newly appointed Executive Director it is my objective to make Centro more accessible to the community and stakeholders we work for. Our staff has been working diligently to revamp our programming and work with our partners to improve how we serve Washington County. I could not be happier with the direction and potential that Centro has for the future.

Each year, the Gala brings together over 300 local business professionals, government dignitaries, and community leaders to celebrate Centro’s work in the community, and raise critical funding for Centro’s programs. Centro Cultural makes a difference in the lives of over 10,000 Washington County residents  – providing citizenship, English as a Second Language and General Educational Development (GED) classes;  job placement;  and STEM-related science, technology, engineering, art and math afterschool and Summer programming for k-12^th grade students.  For over 40 years, Centro has made the community stronger by celebrating and embracing diversity in partnership with volunteers and supporters like you.

The 2015 “Gala de Cultura:  Honoring our Community Champions” will be held on Saturday, November 7^th, 2015 in the Embassy Ballroom, Embassy Suites Hotel  at Washington Square in Tigard.  The evening will feature fantastic auction packages, delicious food and great company.
